EYWA - An award-winning residential development centered around health, wellness and sustainability

The challenge

R.Evolution, an international real estate developer, is currently working on its new project, EYWA, which is also its first residential development in the UAE. The main aim of this project is to create a living space that prioritises wellness, sustainability, and innovation.

One of the key priorities for EYWA is to comply with the design principles of Vastu Shastra, which is a traditional Hindu system of architecture. This system aims to integrate architecture with nature, utilize geometric patterns (yantra), symmetry, and directional alignments while also incorporating ancient beliefs about the relative functions of different parts of the structure. Consequently, EYWA will be built with a pyramid of semi-precious stones inside and magnificent crystal gardens, making it the first of its kind worldwide in residential development.

The JLL approach

JLL is partnering with R.Evolution, providing project management expertise at every step of the way, from master planning and concept design to construction, fit-out, and handover. This includes development advisory, MEP review, cost input, and market analysis.

Bringing it to life

Designed to LEED and WELL Platinum standards, EYWA will be a 19-story tower of 48 exclusive 2- to 5-bedroom waterfront residences with modern technology, nestled on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal in Business Bay. The building will supply each apartment with functional or activated "living" water and filtered air.

EYWA is an award-winning development that received the World's Best Property and Best International Apartment/Condominium Development awards in 2023-2024 by the International Property Awards. Additionally, it was also awarded the Best Apartment/Condominium Development and Best Residential High-Rise Development in Dubai by the Arabian Property Awards in the same year.
