JLL’s Project and Development Services team appointed to lead Newmarket Lifestyle Centre in Alberton

Johannesburg, South Africa; May 2, 2023 – JLL, a leading professional services firm specialised in real estate, investment management, and development consultancy services, has been appointed by Rejem-Linton JV to deliver the Newmarket Lifestyle Centre in Alberton, Johannesburg.

Scheduled to open in 2024, the new strip mall, built to 32,000 sqm, will accommodate more than 50 retail tenants with approximately 400 sqm of F&B space. It is built on a greenfield site within Newmarket Precinct, an upmarket mixed-use development that spans 77 hectares.

JLL will provide project management services throughout the project, from project initiation, planning and programming, stakeholder management, procurement of the works packages, construction, and handover.
