Mixed-use masterplan

Overview

This large scale project spans over 340 hectares in the centre of Riyadh, KSA. It will encourage innovation, knowledge sharing, partnership empowerment, with integrated areas dedicated to education, media, culture and technology.

JLL has been appointed to act as the centralization PMO for the entire masterplan in addition to acting as the project & cost management team for all priority assets.

Key Challenges

PMO Integration – the first challenge was growing the PMO team whilst establishing all internal communication protocol and procedures.

Complying with ethe client guidelines – Ensuring all stakeholders including consultants and contractors have been issued the information and their contracts are clear on meeting the client’s requirements.

Our Solutions

JLL worked closely with the client development team to ensure that the development progress within the budget and timing constraints. This was managed by preparing an initial budget cost plan and a detailed program plan, dividing the overall necessary elements of work and communicating this effectively between different stakeholders such as the client, the third party consultants and the JLL PMC team. A meeting was held with each party on a weekly basis to work together as a team.
