Thierry is responsible for leading and managing JLL's MEA business. His duties include setting and implementing growth strategies, talent management, ensuring excellence in service quality, and making JLL a great place to work.

Thierry has been with JLL for 20 years and has held several strategic and leadership positions around the world during the time. He knows how to build and nurture high performing teams, he understands what motivates clients, and he has deep and broad real estate expertise.

Prior to joining the MEA team, Thierry was the global Head of the International desk- a role he held since 2015- and Chairman of the Global Tenant Representation Board. Prior to this, he was based in Budapest, Hungary, where he was Country Manager and Responsible for our South-East Europe sub-region. In that role, he led our business across Hungary, where he was Country Manager and responsible for our South- East Europe sub-region. In that role, he led our business across Hungary, Romania and the Balkans for almost 10 years. Thierry joined JLL in 1998 and quickly became co-head of the Office team in Belgium.


Thierry earned a degree in Economics from Leuven University. He also majored in Japanese studies. He lived for a year in Tokyo as a rotary exchange student and speaks fluent Japanese.


Thierry is a member of the very prestigious European “Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors” and is a Director at the International Kiwanis Club. He is also an advisory board member of an opportunistic fund investing in Central and Eastern Europe.
