Head of Property & Asset Management Services - MENA

Colin leads the Property and Asset Management services for Middle East and North Africa.

Experience

Planning for and executing the basics in property and asset management will prove to add value in the long run. 

My responsibility is to bring my experience gained from 20 years + working in 3 continents to our clients and my colleagues.

Colin has worked in 3 continents with JLL, Europe, Asia and currently in the Middle East.

Colin relocated with JLL to the MENA region from China in 2016 to lead the Property and Asset Management service for Middle East and North Africa. He has over 20 years of experience providing guidance to developers, investors and landlords for mall developments and large scale mixed use developments. His experience ranges from designing and deploying Asset Management Strategy, Leasing and Renewal and tenant retention strategies, Budget Preparation, Property Operating Plans, fit out guidelines, Policy and Procedures, Consultancy and Advisory services focusing on designing effective property and asset management and solutions to clients.

Prior to joining the property industry Colin worked in ship building on the Clyde and in the Banking.

Education

Colin is a graduate of University of the West of Scotland (UWS), where he gained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Land Economics.

Affiliations

Colin is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a member of the Middle East Council for Shopping Centres (MECSC). In 2015, Colin was invited by the Scottish Government to become a Global Scot, an affiliation which serves to promote Scots working abroad by allowing them to share experiences in lectures and written publications.
