The question now is how long this impact will last before broader international issues undermine this upturn. With increased evidence from global markets that green buildings outperform the market in terms of user acceptability, lower operating costs and higher capital values, it is only a matter of time before many of the initiatives now being pioneered by first movers become more mainstream in the Dubai market.
